....I watched Naruto Shippuuden 113 last Friday.


;w; Canon!Kabuto is back! Well, somewhat.

But I can't nitpick much this time because aside from most of the filler!scenes, and the Kabuto-monologue-about-Orochimaru, did anybody else notice how well animated this episode was? ;w;

They were drawn very well, some frames they sort of looked distorted or off-model, but most of the time, WOW. I've only seen this quality two times in Shippuuden, this episode, and the episode where Sasuke meets Sai for the first time.

I love this kind of animation because it does not compromise the art for very fluid and fancy movement. I'm not sure if you guys would know what I'm talking about, but there are times in the series where the characters look distorted (and most times colored really flat,) but they move in such pretty and sometimes exaggerated animation.

SO. This episode actually showcases well-drawn Orochimaru and Kabuto -w- ;w;

It makes me want to strive harder to make fanart that gives Orochimaru and Kabuto justice. -w-

Ah, here I go, spazzing again. *A*

What I did find funny, weird and better off the episode was the aforementioned Kabuto monologue; the one where he goes off to get Orochimaru's medicine. He's actually talking to himself, so I just thought it was pretty funny (it's like a crossover of filler!Kabuto and Canon!Kabuto in this episode.) Because of this, he's given less doubt to be Orochimaru's assailant (or at least the co-conspirator.)

But lol, props to the return of the ninja info cards. xD

EDIT: Watching it the second time, I can see that the first half animation seems different from the second half, first half is better LOL. I think I was too fixed on Orochimaru and Kabuto to notice. But I was actually expecting more from Orochimaru's true snake form, there were times that the little snakes seemed to lack detail whenever they zoomed out on Orochimaru, and the fight scene could have been better choreographed. But my bias is really towards the first half where Kabuto and Orochimaru were talking so....XD

ALSO. I went to Toycon last Saturday.

~rurimaru, sayang di ka humabol. I was there until 8 pm. D: So I spent most of the time with ~Ah-Mon lol. Kita kits next con~ AND WOW I SPENT THE WHOLE DAY thinking about how to improve my art. ;w; I have much work to do, but I'm going to go for it. *A*

I got to draw all day in the Food Court LMAO. Saw some great artists (from afar LOL) like *batangbatugan, ~tagailog, ~syeri, and great cosplayers like *behindinfinity and *merkymerx...

And a few people I know personally~

It was a fun convention, though I wish I had money to spare LOL.

ALSO. Nodame Cantabile. ;W; I never thought I'd like any slice-of-life anime better than Kareshi Kanojo no Jijyou (KareKano) but whoa, I think I like this one a meter more. (Or something like that. xD )

Such a nice anime, and I can sort of relate to the career problems some of the characters are having, even though it's rooted in music. And it makes me appreciate listening to classical music, however shallow that sounds. >_>' I've always thought of classical music as mostly boring, but I think now I'd be able to give it a better chance. -w- (Yeah, Abi, go educate yourself. TAT)

I'm surrounded by stuff and people full of inspiration right now, it's a wonder why I'm not drawing at this very moment.
